1.⁠ ⁠GENERAL CONDITIONS

By booking Shutter’N’Shine Photobooth, the client acknowledges

full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

The individual making the booking assumes responsibility for

ensuring all guests comply.

2.⁠ ⁠PROMOTIONAL OFFERS

•⁠ ⁠Only one promotional offer or discount may be applied per

booking.

•⁠ ⁠Offers cannot be combined or transferred.

•⁠ ⁠All promotions are subject to availability and may be

withdrawn at any time.

3.⁠ ⁠BOOKING, DEPOSIT & PAYMENT

•⁠ ⁠A non–refundable deposit is required to secure your date.

•⁠ ⁠Remaining balance must be paid in full prior to the event.

•⁠ ⁠Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit is received.

•⁠ ⁠Failure to pay the balance may result in cancellation without

refund.

4.⁠ ⁠CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

•⁠ ⁠Deposits are strictly non–refundable.

•⁠ ⁠Cancellations within 14 days of the event may incur charges

up to the full booking value.•⁠ ⁠If Shutter’N’Shine must cancel due to unforeseen

circumstances, a full refund will be issued.

•⁠ ⁠No additional compensation or liability is accepted.

5.⁠ ⁠TRAVEL & VENUE REQUIREMENTS

Travel

•⁠ ⁠Travel fees apply for events outside Gloucestershire and will

be confirmed before booking.

Venue Requirements

The client must ensure:

•⁠ ⁠A minimum 2m x 2m flat, indoor space

•⁠ ⁠A 13A power socket within 5 metres

•⁠ ⁠Safe, unobstructed access for setup

•⁠ ⁠Suitable parking/loading access

•⁠ ⁠Adequate lighting and safe surroundings

If these conditions are not met, Shutter’N’Shine may refuse

setup without refund.

6.⁠ ⁠SETUP, PACK–DOWN & IDLE TIME

•⁠ ⁠Standard setup time: 45–60 minutes.

•⁠ ⁠Early setup or idle time may incur additional charges.

•⁠ ⁠Delays caused by the venue or client do not extend the hire

period.

7.⁠ ⁠EXTRA TIME CHARGES

Additional operating time is charged at £100 per hour, subject to

staff availability.

8.⁠ ⁠EQUIPMENT HANDLING & DAMAGE

•⁠ ⁠All equipment must be treated with care.•⁠ ⁠Any damage — accidental or intentional — is fully chargeable

to the client.

•⁠ ⁠Shutter’N’Shine may pause or stop the booth if misuse occurs.

9.⁠ ⁠PROPS & ACCESSORIES

•⁠ ⁠Props are provided subject to availability.

•⁠ ⁠Lost, stolen, or damaged props may incur replacement

charges.

•⁠ ⁠Props must remain within the booth area.

10.⁠ ⁠TECHNICAL ISSUES & DOWNTIME

Shutter’N’Shine is not responsible for downtime caused by:

•⁠ ⁠Venue power issues

•⁠ ⁠Restricted access

•⁠ ⁠Poor lighting or unsafe conditions

•⁠ ⁠Wi–Fi limitations affecting instant sharing

•⁠ ⁠Guest interference

If equipment failure occurs due to our fault, we may offer:

•⁠ ⁠Additional operating time or

•⁠ ⁠A partial refund

No further compensation is provided.

11.⁠ ⁠CHILDREN & SUPERVISION

•⁠ ⁠Children must be supervised at all times.

•⁠ ⁠Staff may pause or stop the booth if children misuse

equipment.

12.⁠ ⁠LIABILITY & SAFETYShutter’N’Shine is not liable for:

•⁠ ⁠Injury to guests

•⁠ ⁠Damage to personal property

•⁠ ⁠Loss of belongings

•⁠ ⁠Incidents caused by guest behaviour, venue conditions, or

third parties

Liability is limited to the total amount paid for the booking.

We are only responsible for incidents caused by our own gross

negligence.

13.⁠ ⁠RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE

Service may be refused or stopped if:

•⁠ ⁠Guests behave aggressively

•⁠ ⁠Equipment is at risk

•⁠ ⁠The environment becomes unsafe

•⁠ ⁠Excessive intoxication is present

No refunds will be issued in these cases.

14.⁠ ⁠USE OF PHOTOS & MEDIA RIGHTS

•⁠ ⁠With client consent, Shutter’N’Shine may use photos for

marketing and promotional purposes.

•⁠ ⁠Clients may opt out in writing before the event.

•⁠ ⁠Guests using the booth are considered to have consented to

being photographed.

15.⁠ ⁠DATA PROTECTION & GDPR

•⁠ ⁠Personal data is handled in accordance with GDPR.•⁠ ⁠Photos are stored securely for 30 days unless otherwise

agreed.

•⁠ ⁠Data is never sold or shared with third parties.

16.⁠ ⁠CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

The client is responsible for:

•⁠ ⁠Ensuring the venue permits photobooth operation

•⁠ ⁠Obtaining any required permissions

•⁠ ⁠Providing accurate event details

•⁠ ⁠Informing the venue of our setup requirements

17.⁠ ⁠FORCE MAJEURE

Shutter’N’Shine is not liable for cancellations or delays caused

by events beyond our control, including:

•⁠ ⁠Severe weather

•⁠ ⁠Illness or injury

•⁠ ⁠Accidents

•⁠ ⁠Venue closures

•⁠ ⁠Power outages

•⁠ ⁠Transport disruptions

Liability is limited to refunding payments made.

18.⁠ ⁠CHANGES TO TERMS

Shutter’N’Shine reserves the right to update these Terms &

Conditions at any time.

Clients will be notified of significant changes prior to their event.

19.⁠ ⁠ACCEPTANCE

By booking with Shutter’N’Shine, you confirm that you have read,

understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
